You’ve probably heard by now that First Lady Michelle Obama would be visiting Nickelodeon’s iCarly after Carly and gang break a couple of rules concerning Carly’s dad, who’s stationed overseas. E! Online brings word that the special episode was filmed on Monday and is expected to air sometime in January.
The episode, written by executive producer Dan Schneider specifically for Obama, is meant to promote ‘Joining Forces,’ a “comprehensive national initiative to mobilize all sectors of society to give our service members and their families the opportunities and support they have earned.”
The storyline revolves around Carly’s two best friends breaking some rules so Carly can have a webchat with her dad. Rather than get in trouble for getting in touch with her father, Carly receives a visit from Mrs. Obama, who talks about how important it is that soldiers stay in touch with their families.
